To support a smooth transition and ensure academic readiness, we are implementing a staggered start schedule for students in grades 9–11:
Thursday, August 21
- All 9th Grade Students (Freshmen)
- All New Transfer Students in Grades 10 & 11
Students will receive homeroom assignments, meet teachers, engage in team-building activities, tour the school, and begin NWEA testing.
Friday, August 22
- All 9th & 10th Grade Students
Students will report to the Belmont Room for breakfast and homeroom assignments, NWEA testing will take place for students.
Monday, August 25
- All 9th, 10th and 11th Grade Students.
Students will report to school and receive homeroom assignments. NWEA testing will also take place on this day for 11th graders.
Tuesday, August 26
- All 12th Grade Students (Seniors) begin their school year.
New Start Time: 8:00 AM Homeroom
Please note that homeroom now begins promptly at 8:00 AM. The end of the school day is at 2:10PM.
Uniform Expectations & Sales Information
To maintain a consistent and professional school environment, all students are expected to follow the Village Green uniform policy:
- Top: Village Green shirt or sweatshirt, outermost layer must be Village Green apparel.
- Bottoms: Khaki pants, no shorts, and no skirts.
Stop in to purchase uniforms during listed hours cash only, no Venmo or cards accepted.

- Wednesday, August 20 – 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM
- Thursday, August 21 – 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM
